The only provider we offer LOP to is Rayus Radiology. For most Texas providers, we can approve treatment via email or verbally. The only exception is if the provider is new and we are trying to establish a relationship. In such cases, please consult with me before making a decision.
Treatment Guideline
For CL treatment of soft tissue injuries, it should typically last no more than 3 months. Extending treatment beyond this period may not be beneficial for the case, so we need to closely monitor it. If CL takes a vacation of more than 2 months and then returns to continue treatment, it may not be advisable due to the significant gap, which the insurance may not accept. If CL refuses to complete the treatment or if you believe they have been in treatment for an extended period, reach out to the provider to inquire about the bill and request a 3P PL. Additionally, advise the CL that continuing treatment may not be beneficial for their case. Most CLs reconsider when they learn about the billing implications.
